450 Crore Costly Gift for Isha Ambani Wedding
Isha Ambani, daughter of Reliance Industries CEO Mukesh Ambani, is getting married to Anand, the only son of Ajay Piramal & Swati Piramal, on 12th December.
On the occasion, Piramal family is giving Rs 450 crore new home Gulita in Worli as a wedding gift. After their wedding, the couple will move into this lavish five floored new home.
The Piramal group has acquired the building from Hindustan Unilever group in 2012 through bidding. Since then, the building is under renovation and now, it is going to get its new luxurious and stylish look soon.
Though this building was bought in 2012 from Piramal group, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has given permission to occupy it on September 19th.
The richest building in Mumbai is owned by Mukesh Ambani - Antilia (which is worth 14,000 Crore) and now this new building is expected to enter the list of highly expensive buildings in Mumbai.
Gulita is a 5 floored building which is spread over 50,000 sq.ft and it has got a lavish lawn, multi-purpose rooms and open air water body in first floor. In remaining floors, Gulita has living rooms, dressing rooms, lounge areas and quarters for servants.
On December 1st, a grand pooja ceremony is planned in this building and the couple will move into this building after their wedding on 12th of December.
According to the source, the workers were instructed to finish the final work of the renovation quickly and more than 1000 workers are working on it to complete it as soon as possible.
