Humanity is not dead, and here is the proof! Many industrialists, film people, politicians, and other celebrities are donating in lakhs and crores while common people are donating to their level to support the sufferers of the coronavirus pandemic. Indian citizens are showing their love for the country, which is appreciable. Also, seeing the confidence of Indians and the steps taken by the Indian government, WHO (World Health Organization), too, believes that India can fight the coronavirus.
Recently, Reliance Industries has contributed Rs 5 crores and also opened India's first Covid-19 hospital in Mumbai and started giving free meals through NGOs to the poor and fuel to emergency vehicles transporting infected patients. Now, billionaire Gautam Adani announced Rs 100 crores contribution in the name of the Adani Foundation and also assured that they will further support the government and citizens by providing other resources.
"Ongoing #COVID19 crisis calls for the entire nation to fight as one collective force. We hope that our contribution to the #PMCaresFund will ably support the govt & the heroes on the frontlines. We're with you all the way! #GoodnessNeverStops," Adani Group said. JSW Group on Sunday donated Rs 100 crores to the PM Fund and Mankind Pharma donated Rs 51 crores to the Delhi CM Relief Fund.
Despite lockdown in India, the positive cases are increasing because of the people who come in direct contact with the patients and foreign travelers. However, there are also a few cases who were positive before and have now tested negative, giving a sigh of relief.
