First Choice For Intelligent Chief, Stephen

Although the paperwork might take some time to complete, Telangana Inspector General (IG) M Stephen Raveendra is all set to be the new Security Chief. As there is a special bond between CM Chandrasekhar Rao and AP CM designate YS Jagan Mohan Reddy the two sisterlike states have agreed for Inter-state contingent of the IPS Officer.

Stephen, the first choice by Jagan, for the post was due to the personal rapport with his officer’s track as Stephen had earlier worked as the chief security officer (CSO) of then CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy, father of Jaganmohan Reddy. Stephen will start working on the post from 30th May.

Stephen was personally asked by Jagan to Telangana CM Chandrasekhar Rao, and as the relationship of both the leaders is homogeneous the process was faster, as per the Telangana police officer.

The post of Intelligent Chief is very important as he briefs all the happenings in the state, political as well as in law and order view.
