Latest Updates On Coronavirus In Telangana
The COVID-19 curve seems to follow an upward trend in Telangana as 27 new cases were reported in the state by Thursday evening, taking the state’s total cases to 970.
The number of people who are discharged stood at 262 while 25 people have already died in the state. There are 693 active COVID-19 cases who are admitted to Gandhi Hospital and leaving a few, almost all of them are in a stable condition, as per the health authorities.
State chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao already announced an extension to quarantine period to 28 days from the existing 14 days to prevent the rapid spread of coronavirus in the state.
Of the 27 new cases detected today, 13 were from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area, while 10 were from the Gadwal district.
