Merit Based Immigration System-Trump

A good new emerges for the thousands of foreigners which include hundreds of professional Indians, seeking Green Card or permanent residency in the United States Of America, as President Trump presents merit-based immigration system.

Yesterday at Rose Garden Speech, President Trump made an announcement that now under an advanced system, a permanent legal residency or a green card will be allotted on the basis of the points of the age, knowledge, job opportunities and civil behavior of that individual.

This system will be beneficial to both the skilled and merited individuals as well as the States. The quota for skilled workers will definitely increase from 12 % to 57%. The conditions, before the starting of this advance procedures, are that the immigrants will be required to learn English and they will have to appear and pass the civil examination before the admission.
