A war between Dhoni and Amrapali – Who Wins
Former Indian cricket team captain, MS Dhoni, was the brand ambassador for the real estate company Amrapali Group. The group did an agreement for 40 crores which was not paid yet.
Now Dhoni has approached Supreme Court over the real estate company seeking dues. Dhoni claimed in his petition that he was not paid his dues for his services while being a brand ambassador.
He also attached copies of his agreements from 2009 with the builder. The agreement has been signed between the Amrapali group and Rhiti Sports which is a company that manages leading cricketers.
"The builder, the Amrapali group, owes an amount in excess of Rs 38.95 crore of which Rs 22.53 crore is towards the principal amount and Rs 16.42 crore towards interest calculated at 18% simple interest per annum," Dhoni reportedly added.
Amrapali Group Chairman and Managing Director Anil Sharma had been taken into police custody for interrogation on Feb 28.
Dhoni quit the marketing services in 2016 after doing many commercial advertisements.
