Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar Tests Positive For Covid 19
Sachin Tendulkar has tested positive for Covid-19 after developing mild symptoms. He took to Twitter to confirm the news on Saturday morning.
"I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I've tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative.
“I've quarantined myself at home and am following all protocols as advised by my doctors. I want to thank all the healthcare professionals who are supporting me and many others across the country. Take care of all of you,” Sachin wrote on Twitter.
Soon after the news, the Master Blaster’s name started to trend on social media, with cricketers and fans sending out their love and best wishes for the ‘God of Cricket.’
Former India cricketer and Mumbai Indians team-mate Harbhajan Singh was one of the first people to react to the news and wrote 'Get well soon paji.' There was an outpouring of ‘get well soon messages for Tendulkar on Saturday moments after his tweet.
Sachin Tendulkar recently led India Legends at the Road Safety World Series in Raipur, where the team defeated Sri Lanka Legends in the final to take the inaugural title.
