Pak F-16 Fired AMRAAM Missile, India Gives Proof to the US

India has given proof to the US about the use of F-16 fighters and AMRAAM beyond visual range air-to-air missile by Pakistan during its aerial raid targeting Indian military installations on February 27.
They said India was very confident that the US was carrying out an investigation into the use of the US-made fighter jet and the missile on board as well.
The US on a purchase agreement had put restrictions and reportedly warned Pakistan to refrain the use of F-16s against any other country. The fighter should be used for self-defence and for anti-terror missions only, the agreement says.
On February 28, the Indian Air Force displayed parts of an AMRAAM missile as evidence to prove that Pakistan used US-manufactured F-16 fighter jets to target Indian military installations in Jammu and Kashmir.
The US State Department said that it is trying to get more information from Pakistan on the misuse of American-made F-16 fighter jets by it against India.
