TikTok has become a popular app and is accessed by every youngster to send videos to others or bring out the skill of acting in them. Nowadays it has spread immense popularity because it has served as a medium where common people can test their acting skills and step into the acting career. However, for everything there are pros and cons.
Some people are improving their skills in making videos while others are addicted to it and using it in inappropriate ways, which is why it had to be banned in a few states of India. One such case was found in Kappalavagu, Indrapuram Dinesh (22), Gangachalam and Manoj Goud from Gonugoppula village in Telangana had gone to Kappalavagu, on Friday, as it was a huge flow of water due to the continuous rains. Dinesh and his friends started making videos on the mobile video platform, Tik-Tok. Unfortunately, Dinesh slipped, fell into the stream and due to huge flow of water he drowned.
As per the Inspector of Bheemgal, the three went to see the water body as it was receiving a heavy flow of water due to continues rains in the area. They walked into the stream of fast-moving water and after a few minutes later, the three slipped due to the gushing water and started drowning. While the villagers present at the scene managed to rescue Gangachalam and Manoj Goud, they could not rescue Dinesh, who drowned and after three days of the rescue operation, the police, State Disaster Response Force and locals recovered Dinesh’s body.
However, police are advising the youth and parents to be aware of the consequences before trying the experiment into water bodies.
