11 New Cases In Telangana, Death Toll Still At 29

As many as 11 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the state of Telangana on 6 May, according to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The state’s tally has reached to 1,096. 20 more patients discharged on Wednesday taking the total number of recovered people to 648. The total number of positive patients in the State is 1107, there have been 29 fatalities.

All the positive cases reported today were from Hyderabad, the most affected of all the 33 districts. The recovery rate of coronavirus patients in the State is at 58 percent

Meanwhile, there are 22 districts in Telangana State that have not reported a single Covid-19 positive case in the last 14 days. These are Karimnagar, RajannaSircilla, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Bhupalpally, Sangareddy, Nagarkurnool, Mulugu, Peddapally, Siddipet, Mahabubabad, Mancherial, Bhadradri, Vikarabad, Nalgonda, Asifabad, Khammam, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Suryapet and Narayanpet.

Ministry of public health and family welfare has also asked people to dial 104 who want to acquire information on COVID-19 while those needing mental health support and counseling facilities can dial 108.
