AP CM inaugurates Novotel Hotel at Vijayawada

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu Inaugurated the first 5-star hotel in city - Novotel Vijayawada Varun - on Sunday.

The Novotel Varun, located in the Ring road in the heart of the city, was constructed at cost of Rs 150 crore. This is 20th Novotel group of hotels and third in Andhra Pradesh.

At the Inauguration ceremony, a Kuchipudi dance performance and a fashion show were also held.

Novotel Hotels Chairman V. Prabhu Kishore said that the first International hotel in the city, The Novotel Vijayawada Varun offers 227 luxurious rooms, four food and beverage outlets and seven well-appointed meeting rooms in a 10,000 square feet banquet hall to business and leisure travellers in the city.

The walking track is 202-metre-long. 200 cars could be parked in parking slot. He said that the Varun group forayed in the hospitality sector in 2009 and since then has been associated with AccorHotels.

He congratulated Mr. Kishore and others who conceived the project and gave it a beautiful shape with state-of-the-art facility.
