Breathe Analyzers on elections Day!

Breath analyzers are generally used for drunk and drive cases, but now, Telangana state Election Commission has decided to use it at polling booths.

It is common that supporters and party activists of political parties create disturbances at polling booth on the Election Day.

So, to avoid that, breath analyzers are being used at polling booths this time and the people who found under the influence of alcohol will be kept away.

For this, EC has sought permission from the Chief Election Commission (CEC) and succeeded. A special wing of police personnel were appointed to take care of this.

If voters get caught under alcohol influence, police will file a case against them and they will also be refrained from voting.

Telangana state will go for polling of 119 assembly segments on December 7th. So, everyone who wants to vote should come to the location without drinking to avoid unwanted disturbances.
