CM KCR To Inaugurate Eagle Eye!

Hyderabad is all set to have a police system that rivals those in the USA and Germany. KCR will inaugurate India's state-of-the-art Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC). About 9.22 lakh CCTV cameras will be connected to the center throughout Telangana. At any given point in time, they will be able to monitor and check about one lakh cameras.

Additionally, the command center will have a war-room equipped with the latest technology and equipment for the field staff's backend operations.

The police will be able to make the best use of data analytics, AI, and social media units with other technology-driven initiatives. Moreover, it will have a Disaster and Crisis Management Centre housing all related govt departments like GHMC, Fire, Electricity, and Waterworks. This will help police to track and crack any kind of crime, including cybercrime and terror activities.

The 5-towered command centre comes with a cost of over Rs 500 crore. This was among the 1st major administrative decisions taken by the CM.

In 2015, CM decided to have a state-of-the-art command control system. The state-level surveillance that has access to every camera in Telangana, is located in Tower B. Tower C has a multi-agency room and an auditorium. Tower D houses other departments and data centers.
