D-Mart’s Radhakishan Damani Now India’s 2nd Richest

Damani’s net worth is now more than Gautam Adani ($10.8 billion) and Sunil Mittal ($9.6 billion), according to data from Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Damani owns 37.19% stake In Avenue while his wife Shrikantadevi Radhakishan Damani holds a 3.54% stake in the firm and his brother Gopikishan Shivkishan Damani owns 8.12% stake in the operation of leading retailer D-Mart.
According to an Economic Times report, Damani’s total net worth stood at $13.30 billion on 14 February. Radhakishan Damani and family saw an upsurge in their wealth by about $96 million, an increase of 0.54%, on Friday. Avenue Supermarts has 196 stores in the country.
Avenue Supermarts is the most profitable grocery retailer in India, offering low prices to customers through its 196 stores. The company has its headquarters in Mumbai.
