Donal Trump's To Outline New Immigration Plan
Donald Trump on Thursday proposed his new plan for the immigration system. It is a move from the United States from a family-based immigration system to what administration officials describe as an employment- and skill-based system.
But overall, the number of green cards issued under this plan would not change, and there would be no reduction in net immigration. With the presidential election coming up next year many believe it to be more of a campaigning strategy.
The plan is supposed to address issues like - Securing the border, protecting American wages, Attracting and retaining the best and brightest immigrants, Prioritizing nuclear families, Importing labor for critical industries and Importing labor for critical industries.
