Don’t Use SmartPhone for a Year and Win 72 Lakh

We have heard many times that how important will power is, and now here is the test to prove your will power!

Vitaminwater, a Coca-Cola company, is running a contest with a prize money of $100,000 or around Rs 72 lakh in India.

All you have to do is not using a smartphone! The company will give the contestants old model phones for their regular usage.

To enter the contest, you need to submit a post on Twitter or Instagram, including the hashtags #nophoneforayear and #contest, and outlining what you would do if you couldn’t swipe or scroll for a year. The deadline to enter is January 8, 2019.

The company will select a contestant around January 22, as per the contest rules, and give them a 1996-era cell phone.

If you get selected, you cannot use smartphones for a year but you can use computers or laptops. Devices like Google Home and Amazon Echo were also allowed.

If you can go a full year carrying around something like what Cher used in the iconic teen comedy “Clueless,” you’ll win $100,000. If you last six months, you get $10,000.

And yes, Vitaminwater will be verifying your honesty! Before receiving the money, the contestant will need to go through a lie-detector test!
