Elon Musk Took Over Twitter And Fired The CEO And Other Top Executives.

On Thursday, Elon Musk became Twitter Inc's new owner, firing top executives. Musk had accused the top executives of misleading him and providing little clarity over how Elon will achieve the lofty ambitions he had outlined for the influential social media platform.
The CEO of Tesla Inc has said he wants to "defeat" spam bots on Twitter, make the algorithms that determine how content is presented to its users publicly available, and prevent the platform from becoming an echo chamber for hate and division, even as he limits censorship.
Yet Musk still needs to offer details on how he will achieve all this and who will run the company. Twitter's approximately 7,500 employees are worried about their future after he said he would cut jobs. Moreover, he said he bought Twitter to help humanity, whom he "loves."
According to people familiar with the matter, Musk terminated Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal, and legal affairs and policy chief Vijaya Gadde. In his complaint, he said they had misled him and Twitter investors about the number of fake accounts on the platform. The sources added that Agrawal and Segal were in Twitter's San Francisco headquarters when the deal closed and escorted out.
