Fani Makes Landfall-Puri, Odisha

Cyclone Fani is creating havoc, yesterday night it was at Gopalpur, the in the morning at Beharampur and now it has hit on the cost of Puri. The sea is rough with very high waves along with the wind blowing, increasing with the passing time.

The landfall will take place in the afternoon at the cost of Puri, where Cyclone Fani is getting worse with every passing minute. The cost is far away from the sea, but now the sea is approaching the cost very fast and the sand from the cost is blowing away with the wind. Such dangerous conditions have arrived after forty years, and that too in the month of May.

The sea waves are higher, up to one and a half meters, and is expected to get higher during the day, no one is allowed near the beach. The state and central Government have taken all the measures to ensure the safety of the public.

More than 8 lakhs people are shifted to safer locations, the blowing winds will worsen with the passing time and can make a lot of damage.
