French Officials intolerant for Extensions
The pressure on London might remain due to repeated extensions on Brexit negotiations according to Germany, to which France denied. France was very clear on the intolerance of repeated extensions on Brexit deadline.
French presidential advisor on Friday, pushed for the shorter extension period, expressing a hope that European elections in Britain would push up its political parties for reaching a deal on leaving EU. At the end of the discussions, a 6-month delay was agreed by the European leaders.
After agreeing to the 6-month delay the French advisor reminded that the extensions cannot be carried out always and that they cannot get stuck in it. Also when the deadline of 31st October arises, a solution must be found. However the French advisor did not close the doors of further extensions, but France will definitely continue to agree against it.
The advisor hoped that the European elections might be received as a shock, and a transparent deal may happen.
