Galleria Mall visitor on March 11 must self-quarantine

The health officials here confirmed the 14th COVID-19 positive case in Telangana on Thursday.

The State health officials of Telangana on Thursday have urged people who visited Galleria Mall in Punjagutta on March 11 to self-quarantine themselves, as a Covid-19 positive case from AP had visited the mall on that day.

The health officials requested the visitors, who were there at the mall on the day, to self-quarantine and also access healthcare immediately after the onset of any symptoms. People, who visited the mall on that day, can also call 104 helplines for further assistance and queries.

Meanwhile, One more passenger who tested positive had traveled from Dubai and reached Hyderabad on Saturday and developed symptoms on Tuesday. According to health officials, the person was immediately isolated and tested for Covid-19 at Gandhi Hospital. The contacts of the positive patient have been traced and are under home quarantine. Efforts are on to track down all the passengers of the flight in which the 14th patient traveled from Dubai to Hyderabad.

Also, health officials said that the 8 nationals from Indonesia and the remaining 4 Covid-19 positive cases, who are admitted to Gandhi Hospital, are in stable condition,

The first positive case in Telangana has recovered and was discharged while the remaining 13 positive patients are admitted to the isolation wards at Gandhi Hospital.
