Global Dignitaries to Attend Ayodhya's Ram Temple Inauguration
An array of international guests, including a US-based oncologist who advocated for Narendra Modi's visa clearance in 2014, a senior fellow at Nokia Bell Labs in Indiana, a Norwegian MP, a New Zealand scientist, a Fijian industrialist, and saints who have established Hindu schools in the Caribbean, are among the 100-plus invitees to the Ram temple inauguration in Ayodhya on January 22.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has extended invitations to guests from 53 countries, spanning the US, UK, Europe, Australia, Africa, and others. The majority of the invites, around one-third of the guest list, have been sent to the US, including prominent figures like Dr. Bharat Barai, who lobbied for Narendra Modi's visa clearance and has played a crucial role in strengthening India-Israel ties. Dr. Abhay Asthana, a fellow at Nokia Bell Labs and president of the World Hindu Council of America, is another key guest.
The event has garnered significant excitement among Hindus worldwide, and while many foreign government officials expressed interest in attending, security considerations led to some declined invitations. Nonetheless, the event promises to be a grand occasion attended by international dignitaries representing the global Hindu community.
