Good News For Indians Who Struck In Abroad!
The coronavirus pandemic has killed nearly 250,155 people all over the world and has brought many country to its knees due to its pace of spread. To tackle the situation and prevent its spread, many countries took to completely lockdown themselves due to which many people from other countries have been stranded in there.
Looking at the situation, the Government on Monday announced that it will start evacuating Indian nationals stuck abroad due to Covid-19 lockdowns from May 7.
For this Indian government has contacted the Indian embassies and the High-commissions in those respective countries for easing the process to airlift the Indians. They will be brought back homes via aircraft and naval ships.
However, it will follow all the necessary precautions like screening of the passengers and social distancing as per the guidelines laid. Also, all the passengers would be asked to follow the health protocols issued by the Ministry of Health and the ministry of aviation.
It said, “On reaching the destination, everyone would have to register on the AarogyaSetu app. Everyone would be medically screened. After scrutiny, they would be quarantined for 14 days, either in a hospital or in an institutional quarantine on payment-basis”.
