Hyderabad: 5000 Commercial Buildings in Danger

A majority of 5,000 commercial buildings which includes school, hospitals, and hotels in Hyderabad are in violation of fire safety terms.

The recent fire accident in New Delhi took away 17 lives and it should be reminder to ensure fire safety everywhere.

After recent inspections, officers found that many commercial buildings in Hyderabad are violating fire safety norms.

So, to avoid fire accidents, officers have decided to take serious actions on the commercial buildings that don’t follow safety norms. These buildings may even be sealed if they don’t obey rules.

Principal Secretary for the municipal administration and urban development (MA&UD) department Arvind Kumar ordered GHMC commissioner M Dana Kishore to conduct a fire and safety in all commercial building within a month.
