Hyderabad Police Nab Most Wanted Nigerian Drug Dealer.

A most wanted international drug-peddler belonging to Nigeria and 9 consumers from Hyderabad were nabbed from different places.

From Mumbai, police teams arrested drug-peddler Chukwu Ogbonna David alias Tony. 9 consumers, mostly businessmen, were charged on his advice, and police seized 10 grams of cocaine from them.

Tony, who migrated to Mumbai in 2013 on a temporary VISA and has been staying in the city illegally ever since, purchased the drug from an African drug peddler, Star Boy, via ships, Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand told reporters.

Tony entered the drug business in 2017 and established contacts with consumers in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Goa. The accused set up a network in India by engaging local agents and paying them well to supply drugs, according to the police.

“Tony did not expose himself to agents or customers and was using international phone numbers to communicate through WhatsApp calls and VOIP calls and was delivering drugs to customers through his agents. Tony has 15 to 20 customers in Hyderabad,” the Commissioner said.
