IS Bride Shamima Begum Wants to Return UK: Is it Safe?
IS bride Shamima Begum who fled to Islamic State from the UK says people should feel sympathy for her to return to London.
Shockingly, she admits that she had no concern about seeing several heads in bins as “Islamically it is allowed.”
Begum gave birth to a baby boy yesterday in Al-Hol camp in northern Syria. Begum, not feeling bad about her decision of joining an Islamic state, is making UK doubt her.
The IS bride says she was "just a housewife" in Syria and so there is nothing like danger if she returns the UK. She has married a Dutch jihadi fighter and had two other children who have died of malnourishment and illness in the past few months.
Currently, the whereabouts of Shamima’s husband was unknown. In an interview with Sky News, Shamima repeatedly said that she was comfortable with Islamic State’s regime, including beheadings and executions.
Home Secretary of the UK, Sajid Javid said he would use his full power to prevent her return. However, Jeremy Wright, the Culture Secretary said: “we do have to be concerned about the health of that baby, we have to be concerned about her health too”.
He said Ms. Begum should return to the UK but she should understand that she would be held for her behavior so far, for which Shamima agreed!
