India is in the Saudi DNA: Saudi Prince
On a two-day visit to India, Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi and joined him condemning the brutal Pulwama attack.
The joint statement by India-Saudi called on all states to reject the use of terrorism, dismantle terrorist infrastructures and cut off any kind of financial and other support to terrorism supportive countries.
“As far as terrorism and extremism are concerned — which are common concerns — I want to tell India that we will extend all cooperation to you, be it intelligence-sharing... not only with India but also with neighbouring countries,” Saudi prince said.
Referring Modi as his ‘elder brother’ and a leader he held in high regard, the Saudi prince said: “India is in the Saudi DNA”.
India and Saudi Arabia also agreed in the joint statement that terrorist and their organizations should come under comprehensive sanctions by the UN.
Prince also said Saudi Arabia will invest $100 billion in India.
