India's Largest Manufacturer Of Ice Cream: Telangana

As a major step toward KCR's government's objective of bringing about a white revolution, Hatsun Agro Products Ltd, also known as Arun ice creams and Ibaco, in Zaheerabad, commissioned a chocolate processing plant with a capacity of 7 tonnes per day and an ice cream manufacturing plant with a capacity of 100 tonnes per day on Thursday. This is India's largest ice cream production facility.
Taking to Twitter, KT Rama Rao, IT and Industries Minister said, “With investment of `400 crore, Hatsun’s total investment in the State is 600 cr, a testimony to the #whiterevolution underway in Telangana.”
“The unit will procure 10 lakh litres of milk per day benefiting 5,000 local dairy farmers. It will also provide employment to 1,500 persons,” the minister said.
On a daily basis, Hatsun's puff-insulated trucks travel around 5,000 km across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha. To help farmers reap the real benefit of having a milk collection center nearby, it plans to position its milk collection centers at remote locations.
