Isha Ambani's Wedding Inspired a Party in Pakistan

Karachi was so inspired by the lavish weddings of 2018 that they actually had an Ambani-themed party. The party was held during ‘Decemberistan’ which is a term used for the month of December when whole Karachi parties.

2018 saw a few big-fat Indian weddings. Billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani’s wedding was probably one of the biggest events of the year. People got too much inspired by the family that even our neighbouring country Pakistan caught the fever.

Former Pakistani supermodel Aliya Zaidi hosted the Winter Soiree. According to the print, Zaidi had the theme because “It was the Pulse- the Ambani wedding was all everyone was talking about. There is an affinity for culture, tradition, fashion and music. Much like Ambani wedding, Pakistani weddings also go on for days. For Pakistanis, the wedding was an ideal time to catch a glimpse of their favourite Bollywood stars.”

The hostess went all-out for the theme from having fake USD 20 million elephants to have a 26 karat gold wall to people wearing masks of their favourite stars and special orchids from Thailand. Karachi recreated the splendour of the young Ambani couple’s special day and the Ambani-themed party is now being called Karachi’s craziest bash this season.
