On Saturday night, Democrat Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump to be projected as the 46th president of America while Kamala Harris became the first American of Indian descent to be named for the vice-presidential post in the US. The winner duo lost no time in changing their Twitter bios.
"President-Elect, husband to @DrBiden, proud father & grandfather. Ready to build back better for all Americans," Joe Biden said in his updated Twitter bio.
"America, I'm honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country. The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans - whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me," the President-elect tweeted, along with a video that shows the diverse US with people of different ethnicities coming together.
America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country.

On the other hand, Harris’s new bio on the micro-blogging site read, “Vice President-Elect of the United States. Senator, Wife, Momala, Auntie. Fighting for the people. She/her (sic).”
As per the latest reports, the Joe Biden administration is gearing up to reform temporary visas and create a new visa category that allows cities and countries to petition for higher levels of immigrants to support their growth.
In June, Donald Trump had temporarily suspended the H-1B visas along with other types of foreign work visas until the end of 2020 to protect American workers from unemployment aggravated by the pandemic.
