Kolkata Airport Shut down To 3 PM

The Cyclone Fani is creating Havoc since yesterday when it hit Gopalpur, since then the severity of the Cyclone is increasing with each passing time. The Cyclone Fani has hit the eastern coast of Puri this morning, with the winds of 200km per hour and the waves of about a meter and half high, including heavy rains.

The damage caused by this terrorizing Cyclone Fani is extensive, though there is no report of loss of life, thanks to state and central Government as they evacuated millions of people from the areas that were to be affected.

The cyclone relief centers are full of the people as Cyclone Fani destroyed anything and everything which came in its path. From uprooting of huge trees, damaging the houses, electric poles, the eye of Fani is 25Km in diameter with a velocity of wind raging from 150km per hour to 200 km per hour.

The eye of Cyclone Fani has now completely moved inland and will now move north-northeastwards and then weaken and disappear in the Bay of Bengal on 6^th May.
