Life sentence for 'Dosa King'

The Supreme Court has upheld the life sentence by the Madras High Court in a murder case to Saravana Bhavan hotels owner P Rajagopal. On July 7, orders were issued to surrender. He has been on bail since 2001 for ill health reasons.

Rajagopal of Thuthukoodi took the hotel Kamakshi Bhavan in KK Nagar in Madras in 1979 and renamed Saravana Bhavan. The business expanded after implementing good quality in foodstuff. In the meantime, he established hotels in Tamil Nadu and other states. He already had two wives. Believing in astrology, Rajagopal wants to marry the daughter of his assistant manager. Then Rajagopal filed a petition in Supreme court and the court rejected the case, finally, Rajagopal needs to be surrendered on or before July 7^th.
