No Threat For Vizianagaram From Cyclone Fani
Vizianagaram Collector M.Hari Jawaharlal on Friday said that there would not be much danger to Vizianagaram region. He said the Indian Meteorological Department had amended its forecast and brought down the power of hurricane speed and precipitation. Addressing the media on Friday morning, he said the control rooms in each of the 34 mandals would proceed till the total regularity was re-established.
"We requested that every one of the authorities send the reports about the harm in their individual territories. At that point, we will make essential strides," he included. As indicated by him, violent wind alleviation focuses in Bhogapuram, Pusapati Rega and different mandals would proceed for the following couple of days since the ocean was unpleasant at the waterfront belt. He said that traffic will be permitted to proceed onward the national interstate inside the purview of Vizianagaram.
In the meantime, Srikakulam area Collector J. Nivas has said that Fani has traversed to Odisha without causing much harm or death toll in AP. He anyway cautions of floods in Bahuda and Vamsadhara Rivers which will go into space with downpour water from Odisha.
