One Dies And 61 New COVID-19 Cases Reported In Telangana By Monday Evening

As many as 61 new cases were reported in Telangana by the Monday evening taking the tally to 592 and the number of fatalities to 17 as one more succumbed to COVID-19 today.

However, of 592 cases, 103 Covid-19 positive cases have recovered and were discharged while 17 persons have died. Telangana has reported the highest number of cases in the country today that is on 23 April.

The government, worried due to the rising cases, has began to intensify the operations to tackle the situation. All laboratories and hospitals hopes to conduct around 1,000 tests every day from now.

Many big hospitals have been made on high alert which includes District Hospital, King Koti, Gachibowli Hospital, Hyderabad, Nature Cure Hospital, Begumpet, Government Nizamia General Hospital, Charminar, Government Ayurveda Hospital, Erragadda, Government Ayurveda Teaching Hospital, Warangal and DK Government Homeo Hospital, Ramanthapur. They all have a capacity of over 3,000 beds.

Also, 202 hotspots have been identified in Telangana and due to this gradual increase In the cases, Telangana has already announced a lockdown till 30 April.
