Pakistan Willing to Return Indian Pilot to De-escalate Situation
Pakistan said it is willing to return the Indian Air Force pilot if it de-escalates the tense situation after airstrikes across the Line of Control.
"We are willing to return the captured Indian pilot if it leads to de-escalation. Prime Minister Imran Khan is ready to hold a telephonic conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi," Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi told.
Mehmood Qureshi also said that they have received a dossier and will examine it. Tensions are high between India and Pakistan since February 14th Pulwama attack which claimed the lives of 40 CRPF men.
The airstrike happened on February 27th by IAF has worsened the situation, when Pakistani jets and Indian fighters had an aerial fight and Pilot get caught to Pakistan people.
