Premium processing for H1B petitions filed on or before December 21,2018 resumes
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today that, from Tuesday, February 19, 2019, it will resume premium processing for all H1B petitions filed on or before December 21, 2018. For all those petitions which are filed on or after December 22 the premium processing services remain suspended and the USCIS will resume it as per the agency workload.
Premium Processing for the H1B Visa is a service provided by the Department of Homeland Security (USCIS) that offers 15 day processing time.
The process involves submitting a completed and signed USCIS form I-907 and paying a certain amount as payment to the Department of Homeland Security.
Department of Homeland Security guarantees a 15 calendar day processing time or they will refund the $1,410 Premium Processing Service fee.
