Telangana HC unaccepts Dispossession of Farmers
Food clothing and shelters are the basic needs of a human begins. With the other two managed, it would be cruel if someone takes off the shelter, without providing any other alternative. This has happened when the state Government of Telangana and its authorities forcibly dispossessed the farmers out of their fields in the districts of Siddipet at Etigadda Kistapur.
The Bench in the HC of Telangana which consisted of Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan and Justice A Rajashekar Reddy gave the decision during the hearing on the petition filed by Nayini Saritha and five villagers.
The villagers of Kistapur had filled a petition that the village consists of peaceful villagers and they were asked to get out of the village at once without any provision, which is against humanity and new land Acquisition act.
The political rivals, however, argued that the villagers are not ready to take any type of compensation, further stating that the villagers refused to the Lakshmi who was heading to their homes.
These villages including Kistapur will be submerged because of Mallanna Sagar reservoir.
