The pedestrian bridge crashed in Mumbai

A tragedy took place in Mumbai. The pedestrian bridge (Railway Foot Over Bridge) collapsed in Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal (CSM), which is busy with regular passengers.

The death toll in the incident reached five. Police found that there were three women in the dead. 36 people were injured in the incident.

The crossing bridge that connects the BT line near the Times of India building in platform 1 collapsed. By that time many people were going down the bridge. One of them lost their lives on the spot. Many people were injured.

NDRF teams have learned relief efforts with the help of locals. Removing the bridge from the bridge, the injured were taken to different hospitals in the city. Another four were seriously injured in the incident and lost their lives. The death toll is likely to increase as four people are in a serious situation.
