In Delhi, the chief of the Delhi commissioner for woman Swati Maliwal sat on a strike on Jantar Mantar to demand the death of the rapists within six months.
There were other criminal cases registered with the local police from Rajasthan and Bihar. A Father in Rajasthan chained his daughter and raped her after she caught her father with another woman.
Meanwhile, in a horrific rerun of the Hyderabad rape-murder case, a woman was gang-raped before being shot and then burned alive in the Buxar district of Bihar.
It is very necessary to stop all these shameful incidents happening around us. For this, we should hold campaigns and involve strikes. The government should enforce stringent laws to uproot these activities and the ones who are involved in them.
