TikTok App banned by Google and Apple Play Stores in India!
The Madras High Court ordered to ban the TikTok app on April 3rd for having pornography and violence-prone videos. And then TikTok owners went to Supreme Court to plea stay MHC order which was rejected outright.
Now, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has asked Apple and Google to remove the app from their play stores.
Reports stated that people already have the app on their mobiles can use it, but there is no option for installing now.
The Supreme Court will hear the matter on April 22. Being the popular video-sharing app, TikTok has nearly 119 million Indian users.
But most of them are children and teenagers and the app consists of porn and violence based videos in high number, the court ordered to remove the app.
So, finally, Google and Apple blocked the TikTok App in India from their play stores.
