Trouble In Paradise-Imran & Gen

Pakistan Prime minister Imran Khan and Pakistan Army Chief and Mentor Gen Qamar Bajwa are experiencing some troubles in their relationship. The main issue is developed due to the working of government functions.

The government preforms under the Prime Ministers rule, apparently Gen Bajwa all-powerful army chief is unhappy with the overall performance by the government, which includes the handling of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

One of the controversies is that of Nadeem Babar, who is not a member of parliament, one of 16 such persons in Khan’s 47-member cabinet. As a Prime Minister of Pakistan Khan now wants to send a signal to the outside world that he is not the military’s puppet and should not be treated as one.

The gap between duos is seemed widening up, there was a recent incidence of the inauguration of a dam in Pakistan, where Gen asked Imran to accompany him in his plane, khan refused to say he has other commitments. While returning from the function the same thing happened, which obviously upset Gen Bajwa.
