VHP Road Show for Ayodhya Ram Temple Construction
The twin towns of Ayodhya and Faizabad caught heat after a large gathering of saffron forces to raise the voice for construction of Ram temple.
On Thursday, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad denied the prohibition orders and held a road show to support for their Dharam Sabha on Sunday.
PAC and civil police told that clear instructions were already passed that there should be no violation of the status quo at the disputed site. Though police doesn’t reveal the sensitive security details, they said that large amount of additional forces are deputed at Ramjanmabhoomi premises.
Faizabad divisional commissioner and receiver of the disputed site, Manoj Malhotra confirmed that only those who are going for darshan are allowed near the complex.
Meanwhile, due to the fear of reoccurrence of the December 6, 1992 kind of a frenzy, traders in Ayodhya have decided to boycott the saffron forces temple show.
The Sanyukt Vyapar Mandal of Faizabad, on Thursday, said that it would oppose VHP’s Dharam Sabha on Sunday and show black flags to Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray.
Vyapar mandal president Janardan Pandey said VHP is trying to pollute the peace of Faizabad and Ayodhya.
Both Hindu and Muslim families started fearing because of this road shows and protests, Pandey said.Even though Section 144 has been fixed in Ayodhya and Faizabad, it didn’t stop VHP from holding a road show.
The show was led by Bajrang Dal activists, raising slogans “Ram Lalla hum aaye hain, mandir wahin banayenge”. “We are now going for a war for Ramjanambhoomi”, Said VHP leader Bholendra Singh.
