Who Is Leading In The Swing States Joe Or Trump?

Democratic challenger Joe Biden is currently leading US President Donald Trump in the national polls for the presidential election as the US approaches its next presidential election. But that doesn’t guarantee the Democratic candidate victory as Hillary Clinton also had a clear lead over Trump, but she ended up losing.
A handful of swing states will probably decide the election and be targeted heavily by campaigners. The presidential voting system assigns each state a number of electoral college votes that go to the state’s victor regardless of the margin of victory.
In order to track how the race is developing in the election, 6 of the 8 states were those that flipped to Trump in 2016 after backing Barack Obama in 2012.
North Carolina and Arizona were also added due to what they might tell us about a shifting electoral landscape.
We must caution that the polls – particularly some swing state polls – severely undercounted Trump supporters in 2016. We are not certain, despite assurances, that they have corrected this. Additionally, they may be over-counting Democratic support (more people may say they will vote for Biden than actually turn out). The latest polling average puts Joe ahead of Donald nationally.
On 3 November 2020, Americans will vote for their next president, with a choice between Democratic challenger, Joe Biden, and Donald Trump, the Republican incumbent.
