Women who Enters Sabarimala Shrine Doesn’t care their Lives!
Recently, two women Bindu Ammini and Kanaka Durga entered Sabarimala temple and offered prayers to ‘Lord Ayyappa’.
They have had threats from Right-wing groups. But they never cared about it.
"I knew my life will be in danger but I still wanted to go into the temple. We are proud that we have made it easier for women who want to go to Sabarimala now," Kanaka Durga said.
"We went into the temple because it's our constitutional right," Bindu said. Durga also explained it is all about devotion but it is also about gender equality. “Our families were against us visiting the temple”, Durga added.
Though there are a few people who are doing protests, there are many people who are supporting us, said both.
After their visit to the temple, the priest there performed a purification ritual which is an insult to women, Bindu said.
