Doctor with coronavirus shares daily symptoms on Twitter
A doctor named Yale Tung Chen from Madrid, Spain, who was infected with coronavirus is giving his followers a day-by-day look at the disease’s symptoms as it takes hold of his body.
Yale Tung Chen, 35, works at the Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid and has been sharing updates on his Twitter account as the virus progresses, talking about the symptoms and even sharing ultrasounds of his lungs with followers.
Taking it to Twitter on Day 1, he wrote, “Day 1 after #COVID diagnosis,” alongside an ultrasound of his lungs, as he gave an overview of what symptoms he was experiencing at the time.
“Day 2 after #COVID diagnosis. Less sore throat, cough & headache (thank God!), still no shortness of breath or pleuritic chest pain. #POCUS update: small bilateral pleural effusion, thickened pleural line & basal b-lines (plaps),” he continued on the second day.
Coming on the third day, he exclaimed that though while his headache and sore throat had gone away, it was diarrhea that is worrying him now.
“Day 4 after #COVID diagnosis. More cough & tiredness (very badly), still no dyspnea/chest pain,” he wrote.
In return, people wished him ‘Get well soon’ in comments and poured him with best wishes for the future for doing a selfless job.
