World’s Biggest Pandemic Treatment Centre In Delhi
Delhi, which is the second worst-hit state in India after Maharashtra will set up the world’s biggest COVID-19 treatment center in the upcoming days.
Delhi’s coronavirus cases have risen sharply since the beginning of June and more than 50,000 of its Covid-19 cases were confirmed this month alone. In the wake of these rising cases, the state has planned to set up the world’s largest pandemic center.
The Treatment Centre is to be set-up on the Radha Soami Satsang Beas campus in Chhatarpur and to be named as Sardar Patel Pandmeic Care Centre.
The government is also planning to arrange over 1,000 doctors and paramedics at the center so that services could run effectively. This would also make ITBP as India’s first organization to set up a facility center for the pandemic.
As per the reports, the Centre will be distributed in 100 and 1,000 beds will be equipped with the oxygen points. For the comfort of the patients, the center will possess 5,000 fans and 1,000 commodes and urinals.
