Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is busy in the promotional process of her next Netflix film Darlings. The film has Vijay Varma, Shefali Shah, and Roshan Mathew, she essays Badrunissa Shaikh, a victim of domestic abuse, in the film.

The teaser of Darlings shows Alia’ character bashing her husband with a pan, dumping water on his face and submerging his face in a tank of water and the hashtag #BoycottAliaBhatt began trending on social media just one day before the film was made available on the OTT platform.

The netizens are saying that she is promoting domestic violence against men with this movie Darlings. They are finding it very problematic and have called for a boycott of Alia Bhatt. Few comments are as follows:
