Brahmi’s Heart Sqeezing Role in Rangamarthanda

Brahmanandam is well-known for comedy roles. He is the top and senior-most actor who can tickle your funny bones effortlessly. But, do you know, he also has acted as a hero in an old film ‘Babai Hotel’ in which he played an emotional role! And now, he is again going to be seen in a heart-squeezing role in upcoming film Rangamarthanda. Krishna Vamsi who took a very long gap after his film ‘Nakshatram’ is directing this film.
“Very exhilarating to have the Legendary and Padmasri Brahmanandam Garu in our RANGAMARTHANDA...In a crucial and heart squeezing role,” said Krishna Vamsi. Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishna are playing the leads in the movie. Musical maestro Illayaraja is making his comeback with this film after working for ‘Antahpuram’ two decades ago. RangaMarthanda is an official remake of Marathi super hit movie 'Natsamrat' and the story is about a stage artist who struggles to forget his stage memories even after his retirement. Nana Patekar has played the lead role in the original.
The film has a tragic storyline and Prakash Raj can easily pull out the role with his amazing acting skills. Ramya Krishna and Prakash Raj have worked together for many films and became the hit pair of Tollywood. The film will be bankrolled by Abhishek Jawkar and Madhu Kalipu and the regular shoot will be commenced from December.
