The versatile actor Rajasekhar was off the grid since 2015. He started his second innings in 2018 and made a comeback in the film with PSV Garuda Vega. The film was successful at the box office. His next movie Kalki – an investigative thriller, was released this year. Although the movie didn’t perform great, Rajasekhar was praised for choosing varied subjects.

A few weeks back, the actor confirmed that he is working on the sequel of Garuda Vega. But yesterday, the actor announced that he is doing a Tamil film with director Pradeep Krishnamurthy. This came as a surprise to his fans. They are trying to understand his decision to do a film with a struggling director.

Rajasekhar made a good comeback with Garuda Vega and Kalki and both the films were directed by established directors of Telugu cinema; Praveen Sattaru and Prasanth Varma respectively. They have a good following among the Telugu audience. Pradeep, on the other hand, still needs to prove his mettle.

After the announcement of the film, there is no buzz about it. The distributors who would wish him after his movie announcements didn’t congratulate him this time. It looks like he is going in the wrong direction. Has the actor made a bad decision?
