Is Guna 369 Worth Watching?
Karthikeya who has impressed Telugu audience with his performance in RX100 has disappointed them with his next film Hippi. And now, he came up with his next film Guna 369. The film has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is! Guna (Karthikeya) is a guy who leads his life happily with his family and girlfriend Geetha (Anagha). One day, unfortunately, he gets cornered in a murder case without his fault. How he finds the truth and solves the problem forms the story.
Coming to the performances of actors, Karthikeya did very well. As in his previous films, he exposed his six-pack body and also he performed very well. His dialogue diction should be appreciated. Heroine Anagha is good in her role. Senior actor Naresh and Hema performed well as Karthikeya’s parents. Jabardasth Mahesh got a crucial role and utilized it well.
The twists and turns in the film are good and unpredictable. Though the first half feels routine, the pre-interval twist will blow your mind. The second half is gripping. The film for sure makes people sit in the edge of their seats. Though director Arjun Jandyala has chosen a content-based storyline, his lagging narration in the first half makes people irritated at times.
Production values are very good, though it is a limited budget film. Editing by Thammiraju is okay and cinematography by Raam Reddy is good. Music composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj is below average but his background score is good. Finally, Guna 369 is a message-oriented mass film with unpredictable twists. Except for the slow narration, you can give it a watch!
