Is Nagarjuna Avoiding Trivikram?
Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu 2 is released today. The actor has been busy promoting the film in the past few days. In the pre-release event of the film, Nagarjuna didn’t mention once about the talented screen-writer Trivikram Srinivas. This has given fuel to the rumors that all is not well between the two.
Nagarjuna didn’t give credit for the success of prequel – Manmadhudu to Trivikram. He instead gave full credit to its director Vijay Bhaskar. Trivikram had written some memorable dialogues in the first part. The reason for these differences is not clear, but it is evident that there are some serious differences between the two.
On Wednesday, during the pre-release promotions of Manmadhudu 2 to the media, someone asked that Trivikram also deserves credit as a dialogue writer for the success of the film. However, the actor curtly replied, “Vijay Bhaskar narrated the story to me and I traveled with him”. He then asked the media to move on to the next question.
If reports are to be believed, Nagarjuna asked the screenwriter to direct his son Akhil but he didn’t respond back. So, Nagarjuna is angry with him.
Manmadhudu 2 is an official remake of a French movie ‘I Do’. It is a romantic comedy produced by Nagarjuna himself and directed by Rahul Ravindran. Rakul Preet Singh is the female lead in the movie.
